LC Industries mission has always been to provide meaningful employment for people who are blind. Today, LC Industries is the largest employer of people who are blind in the United States.
For over 70 years LC Industries has grown and diversified to become a modern not-for-profit corporation operating under the AbilityOne program. Headquartered in Durham, NC, LC Industries currently operates in nine states, including 30 retail stores on military bases, six manufacturing facilities that produce nearly 800 different products and two distribution centers that provide a true 'One-Stop-Shop' experience.
LC Industries Distribution was created with the goal of increasing accessibility to all AbilityOne products and creating blind jobs as well as supporting the company's various business channels. Since its inception in 2003, LC Industries Distribution Centers have steadily increased the number of AbilityOne products available to customers from coast-to-coast and now carry the entire AbilityOne A-list and top selling B-list products, representing over 70 different NIB and NISH agencies.
